We’re focused on quality and compliance so established The Cable Lab®, our in-house specialist cable testing laboratory, accredited by UKAS to ISO/IEC 17025. It’s a recognised centre of technical excellence staffed by technical engineers and industry experts and provides quality assurance testing and independent third-party cable testing and inspection services across all cable types. Our specialist MV test facility means we can test cables of voltages up to 69kV. The Cable Lab also produces customised cables, designing and developing solutions for bespoke applications where required. Extended services include CPD-certified cable training.
The Cable Lab also tests cables under the BSI Cable Testing Verification Kitemark, providing a third-party mark of quality. Described by BSI as ‘a new benchmark in cable compliance’, our portfolio of Kitemark tested cables includes our Veriflex range of industrial automation cables, as well as key products from across our range. Project-wide Kitemark testing is also available.
